The Beginning
A gift of love and absolute joy of a healthy baby girl (Crystal), The mystery
of life a baby girl so unique, a little tiny miracle so innocent and sweet.
Treasured Moments
Crystal affectionately known (NeNe) was the heart beat of the family and
the glue that kept them all together. She loved her children dearly, and
shared a special bond with her brothers, nieces and nephews, and was like
a mother figure to the neighborhood. Crystal was a God fearing, praying.
sophisticated, phenomenal lady, with a big heart. She was selfless and very
outspoken. She say what she mean and mean what she say. Her heart was
astonishing, she made everyone feel accepted and loved. She enjoyed life to
the fullest and looked forward to going on trips with her best friend Leslie.
She loved to give family gatherings and mastered at cooking and baking. To
know her was to love her, and we will cherish her memories forever.
Her Path
Crystal received her education from Baltimore City Public Schools. Her
career path led her to be a quality control technician at various plants
including Coca Cola where she worked there for three years ultimately
leading her to supervisor at Becton and Dickinson. Crystal was a dedicated
foster care parent for over ten years. Her passion allowed her to love, guide,
and provide a good home within a loving environment for each of the
children. Crystal love and compassion extended to taking guardianship of
her great nephew Dante Davis Jr. in whom she loved and raised him like
a son and also her daughter Jedayah Gatling becoming the youngest of her
