Cynthia Ann Chalmers, beloved daughter of the late Annie Bell Hightower and the late Harvey Lewis Chalmers was born in Baltimore, Maryland on August 13, 1959. Cynthia was educated in the Baltimore City School System where at age 17, she began a work study program with 1st National Bank, now known as M & T Bank. She worked in many areas and would have completed her 30 year anniversary with M & T Bank on December 27, 2006. She was a member of New Psalmist Baptist Church. Cynthia was an extraordinary woman of strength, courage and faith. Those who knew her loved her especially when she gave that ''Million dollar smile.'' She possessed the special gift of caring and always gave her time and her love to those in need. Cynthia loved being with family and friends, cooking and shopping. Her signature dish was potato salad and her greatest joy was being a mother. She leaves to cherish fond memories, a loving daughter, Jasmine Breanna Chalmers, five sisters, Selina Chalmers-Muse, Shelia Chalmers-Bellamy, Anita Brown, Tonjia and Donna Chalmers, two brothers, Gregory and Harvey Chalmers, two brothers-in-law Anthony Bellamy and Larry Brown, one sister-in-law Robin Chalmers, a host of nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles, cousins, her M & T family and special friends.
