Cynthia Maria Powers was born to the late Beatrice Jackson and

James Powers on February 14th 1958 in Baltimore City

Maryland. She departed her early life on Wednesday, January

26th, 2022 after a lengthy illness.

Cent, as she was so well called by everyone, was educated in

Baltimore City Public Schools, attending Patterson High School.

After leaving Patterson High, Cent started working various jobs.

Cent had a passion for cooking and used this passion to help

serve many through the Food Truck business.

Cent had a vivacious and outspoken personality and made

friends wherever she went. Everyone, who knew her, had a

story to tell about her, whether good or bad. No matter what the

story, she either took the story with a grain of salt or you knew

when she was not pleased. Fun fact: In her last few days of life,

she cursed everyone out. Notably, Cent loved Bingo, playing

cards, and just being around family and friends. Cynthia,

without a shadow of a doubt, also loved the Lord. She will be

sorely missed, and life will not be the same without her.

Cynthia leaves to cherish her memories: her sister, Bernadette;

two brothers, Nathaniel, who preceded her in death, and James;

two daughters, Shena and Octavia and their two spouses,

Antoine and Donelle. One special niece, Lekisa; six (6)

grandsons, Antoine Jr., Dakwan, Tijuan, Charels, Keon, Kavon;

one granddaughter, Nakaiya, five (5) great grandchildren,

Grayson, Dakwan Jr., Jaeden, Serenity and Preston. She also

leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other

relatives and friends.
