August 1, 1959 – October 3, 2016
Beloved, Cynthia Marie Roane Deloach was born on August 1, 1959. She was the second oldest of Mary Lou and Braxton Charles Roane.
From an early age Cindy showed her devotion and love of the Lord, even serving as Sunday School secretary.
As a child growing up in the civil rights movement she developed a love and admiration for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. She made it a point to march in Baltimore City's MLK Jr. parade annually.
Cynthia was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. She was a Proud Western Dove, graduating in 1977. During the Fall of 1984 at University of Baltimore she met Rasheed Ali and conceived her beloved only child. She eventually received her Bachelors degree in Spring of 85' also giving birth a mere 2 weeks later.
Being full of Life and Always smiling she married childhood friend, Linwood Deloach in March 1995 in a small ceremony officiated by another childhood friend.
Proud Baltimorean she was, education was a big foundation for her professional life. After school program Instructor, Teacher, Historian. Also serving the Sheila Dixon Campaign and other City and state candidates during election season. Also being a lover of plants, she would always spend time gardening and landscaping to make her world beautiful.
She departed this life suddenly on October 3,2016.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Otis, William Jones and Richard Reed and one sister, Esther Roane.
