Damon Michael DeShields, Jr., affectionately known as "Dink," was born on December 23, 1996, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Damon DeShields, Sr. and Darnyell Demby. From the very beginning, it was clear that Damon was destined to be unforgettable. His vibrant spirit, infectious energy, and genuine heart left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.

Damon was educated in the Baltimore County Public School System and graduated from Lansdowne High School in 2014, earning his certification in electrical work. Ambitious and hardworking, he began his career at Southwest Airlines that same year as a Ramp Agent. Damon took great pride in his work, always demonstrating a positive attitude and strong determination. His upbeat personality and leadership naturally drew others to him, turning coworkers into lifelong friends.

On October 4, 2025, Damon received his "eternal assignment," joining his beloved grandmother, Kimmie Demby, in heaven. While his time here was far too short, his impact will be forever felt. He now rests peacefully, surely welcomed with open arms.

Damon's memory will forever be cherished by his loving mother, Darnyell Demby; his father, Damon DeShields, Sr. (Terez "Momma-T" DeShields); his sister, Trinadee Coates; his bonus siblings, Jazzmen Taylor, Byron Wise, Jorden Taylor, Cory Poole, and Deborah Woodard; and his bonus nephews, Ayden Poole and Raymond McKelvin. He is also survived by his grandfathers, Charles Demby, James Austin, and John Coates; grandmothers, Clementine DeShields and Yvonne Coates; as well as a host of devoted aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Damon's light, laughter, and love will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew him.
