Darceia Verlinda Reeder, beloved daughter of the late Mildred Jenkins and Jacques Cary, was born on January 28, 1958, in Baltimore, Maryland. She earned her wings and departed this earth on October 9, 2009. Darceia, who was affectionately known as "Linda" to family and friends, received hr education in the Baltimre City Public School Sytem. Working at various psychiatric institutions, Linda founs her passion teaching daily living skills to developmentally disabled adults, until she became ill in 2006. Loving and outspoken, she will be remembered most for her soulful voice, love of dance, and gardening, whick was fer favorite pasttime. Linda found peace just sitting by the water especiall with family. As a member of Mount Olive Freewill Baptist church, Linda became a prayer warrior for many. Her love for the Lord was further expressed by her willingness to share personal testimonies in hopes of helping others. Linda's brother, Gregory White, preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn; two children, Shantisse Beavon Mason and Ciara Reeder; two grandchildren, Briana and Cameron Mason; brother, Anthony Shariton White; a loving sister, Vidette Frank Cary; eight other extended brothers and sisters; fiance' Timothy Muse; a devoted cousin, Darryl Hackney; godsons, Joseph Brandon Small and Ryan Daniel Scott; best friends, Martha Wall and Molly Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
