Obituary

Darcel Delaney Hudson, the son of Ernesten and Edith Hudson was born on November 24th, 1958 in Baltimore Maryland. He grew up in Baltimore City where he was educated in the Baltimore City public schools and graduated from Southwestern High School in 1977. In 1977 he joined the Army National Guard where he served two years of active duty. In 1980 he proceeded on to further his education at International Tractor Trailer School where he earned his certification in commercial truck driving. Known and admired for his life long love of being on the road, Darcel owned his own transport business D & L trucking for 10 years and a dedicated service of 35 years as a commercial truck driver. On May 5th, 1995, he married the woman his heart longed for LaTanya R. Green. They enjoyed over 18 years of marriage and was blessed with three children. In 2000 at Pilgrim Christian Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Rev. Linnion Wilson, Darcel accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into his life. While at Pilgrim Christian Baptist Church he belonged to the Boys of Solomon Club. Dared was loved, admired and respected by his family members & friends for bis Godly example as a son, brother, husband and father. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife LaTanya R. Hudson, His dearly cherished children: Darcel D. Hudson, Jr., Alvin P. Green and Damita C. Hudson. He also leaves cherished parents: Ernesten and Edith Hudson. Treasured siblings: Blondell Houchens (Kevin), Wanda Hudson- Townes (late Paul), Tyrone Hudson (Yvonne). Treasured brother & sister in laws: Otis Johns (Sherry), Houston Green (Sue), Gary Fletcher (Vanessa), Linda L. Watson (Michael), Steven Green (Diane), Maurice Green and Raymond Green (Tarrnny). He leaves a rich heritage in his grandchildren: Darnasia Hudson, Daryian Hudson and Nyel Green. Along with many special relatives Darcel leaves are: Catherine Reese (Annt), Tiffany Hudson (niece), Melvin Coates (best friend), Lawrence Mills (best friend) & Eric Fitzgerald (best friend). Along with a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who will also cherish the memories and laughter they shared. Viewing Joseph H.
