I, Darnyel Grasheal Smith, loving known as ''Dee,'' ''Sissy,'' ''Teen'' and ''The Gorgeous One,'' was born October 26, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland to proud parents Robert Smith Sr. and Marian I. Smith. I attended the public schools in Anne Arundel County area. I graduated in 1978 from North Wast high School. I attended the Anne Arundel County Community College. I am also a licensed massage therapist, recieving my certification in 2003. I love reading, dancing ,cooking and hosting gatherings for family and friends. I worked at Harbor Hospital for twenty five years. My recent position was team leader in the admitting and registration department. While working at Harbor Hospital, I became attached to Mrs. Lucy White, who I call my second mom. I attended Halls Church in early years and sang with the A.J. Ford Singers. Later I joined New Life Fellowship Baptist church where I was saved and baptized. My pastor is Rev. Abraham Shanland, who I could talk with about anything. I leave to cherish my memory, my mom, Marian I. Smith; my dad Robert N. Smith Sr.; five brothers, Donnell, Leonus, Robert Smith Jr.; William B. Smith Jeffery Smith preceded me in death; one sister Cora Lynn; one sister-in-law Ly'nne Smith, six uncles Claymon Stevenson, Isaac Green, Ernest, Raymond, Earl and Melvin Smith; nine aunts, Althea, Agnes, Susie, Barbara, Peggy, Jeannette, Mary-Lee Stevenson and two very special aunts, Helen Spencer Lewis and my very, very special Aunt Birdie; my best friends and ''sista'', Cassandra Bishop; my ''sista girl crew'', Cheryl Smith, Kempa Carriere-Arnold and Sandy O'Connor; my male friends Ken Mattehs Skip, John McCoy Earl, and Andre Murphy; a very special friend, Brian Dyson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
