On Thursday June 20, 2013, the gentle hands of God reached down to carry our beloved Darrell Banks to a place to rest in paradise. Darrell A. Banks affectionately known as "Buck" was born to Paulette Lee and Leroy Banks, Jr. on March 9,1985 in Baltimore, Maryland. Buck received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. Buck worked many jobs. He had a real passion about working. Buck was a devoted father to his children Dajanea and Darrell Banks, Jr. who he loved with all his heart. In 2004, he met and fell in love with Yolanda Dale. When you saw one, you saw the other. Buck was a friend, brother, father, and son. He was well loved by all the kids in the neighborhood. He loved to laugh and play. The way he would smile, would always make you smile. Even if you were hurting, he had a way of knowing what to say to brighten your day. Buck made numerous friends wherever he went. His family and everyone who knew him will sincerely miss him. Buck leaves to mourn, his dedicated parents, Paulette Lee and Leroy Banks; two children, Dajanea and Darrell Banks, Jr.; two grandfathers, Leon Lee of Atlanta, Georgia and Robert Bey who preceded him in death; two brothers, Anthony Banks and Richard Banks; two sisters, Tawonda Thomas and Khea Banks who preceded him in death; three aunts, Sharon Lee, Marylina Bey, and Tracey Bey-Watford who preceded him in death; a special uncle, Gregory Lee; stepfather, Kenneth Deneal; a loving fiancee Yolanda Dale; one goddaughter, Te'gan Patterson; and a host of other uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
