Darrell Ivan Savoy, was born on May l4, 1967 in Baltimore, Maryland to

Leon and Evelyn Savoy who preceded him in death.

Darrell attended the Baltimore City Public Schools and enrolled in So-

journer Douglass College. At the age of 18 he then decided to follow in the

family footsteps and went to work at Baltimore Department of Public

Works. He excelled while there and was promoted to Baltimore City

Department of Transportation, Maintenance Division.

Darrell was an avid reader and was highly intelligent. Family and friends

would always call him for the answer of trivia questions. There were many

times when a family member will be hospitalized and after the doctor

would speak, everyone would look for Darrell to translate.

Darrell loved his family deeply and always wanted the best for them.

Darrell leaves to mournzwife, Adriane Savoy; five kids, Darrell, Darian,

Darius, Dominic and Victoria Dillard; brother, Leon Savoy; sister, Anna

Cromwell; brothers-in-law, Jamal Dillard and Dwight; daughter-in-law, J.

Savoy; 9 grandkids and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and

friends.
