DaSHAWN La'TRELL BROWN was born on September 6, 1993 to loving parents, Shamika D. Graham and Donte' L. Brown at Maryland General Hospital. Da'Shawn departed this life suddenly on Sunday, May 22, 2011. Da'Shawn was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. He attended Harlem Park, Montebello and later Carver High School, where he was a junior, He was a great student who achieved many things, ending up on the Honor Roll. Da'Shawn had a keen passion for sports, especially basketball and wrestling. He also excelled in the Masonry Program, where he had hopes of becoming an architect. He also worked for several summers in the Youth Works Program of Baltimore City. DaShawn also enjoyed listening to music, cracking jokes and being the life of the party. He has many friends who loved and admired him Da'Shawn will be terribly missed by all of those whose lives he touched. Da'Shawn was a proud, loving, big brother to his sisters, Joy and Alaysia, and new baby brother, Christian. Da'Shawn had a loving relationship with his mother, aunts, uncles and many cousins. The Family all loved him very much and will miss him tremendously. DaShawn was preceded in death by his father, Donte' La'Trell Brown; grandmother, Marlene Adams-Scott; great-grandmothers, Dorothy Adams, Peggy Graham and Geneva Myrick; and great-grandfathers, Arthur Adams Sr. Leo Graham and Joseph Myrick Sr. May they welcome him to Heavens with open arms. Da'Shawn leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted mother, Shamika D.
