David Singleton Brown was born on March 9,1944 in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina to the late Charles Brown and Catherine Singleton Brown. He departed his life on October 21, 2013 at 5:21pm at (GBMC) Greater Baltimore Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. David received his early education in public school and also attended Howard High School in Georgetown, South Carolina. He was a member of Brown Chapel United Methodist church in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. Growing up in South Carolina David was known as "Boot" the young man known for the tailored suits, Stacey Adam shoes and well groomed hair. (Process) If you knew Boot, then you knew that was his trademark his hair. He completed his look with his automobile. Boot relocated to Baltimore, Maryland in 1967. He worked as a sheetrock installer for varies companies throughout Baltimore city. Boot was known as what we call a peoples person, he loved to socialize. He was known for his love of being outside winter, spring, summer and fall. He was known for his big smile and big heart, he was a man that didn't complain. During the decline of his health he resided at Envoy of Pikesville, Rehabilitation and skilled nursing Center, in Pikesville, Maryland. Throughout his time at Envoy he was blessed with the love and support of his children, grandchildren, family and friends. Two sons proceed him in death Randolph Brown and Terrell Grissett. Boot touch so many lives and leaves to cherish his memory, his union with Thelma Browntheir children Rickey (Robin) Brown; Healin Gralin (Roxanne) Brown; Samuel Brown;, he leaves to cherish his memory his love and soul mate Dorothy "Dolly" Bowens; adopted daughter Vanessa Richmond;Kenneth (Paula) Grissett; Antwan (Yvette) Grissett; Carlo (Alicia) Grissett; and Sumika (Earl) Grissett; Grandchildren Andrea Spencer; Ricky Brown Jr.; Ti'yran Brown; Demon Brown; KeyonaeGrissett; Kenneth Grissett Jr.; Kenneka Grissett; Kennedie Grissett; Chanel Grissett( Anthony) Cheeks and Carlo Grissett Jr. Greatgrandchildren four girls and three boys. Two brothers Charles and Jethro; seven sisters Shirley; Maxine; Patsy; Carolyn; Ida Diane; and Geraldine.
