DAVID ANDREW FARRELL, was born March 18, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Joseph Anthony Farrell, (Daddy Joe) and Martha Marie Farrell (Mot). He departed this life Friday, June 19, 2015 at the age of 69, to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. David attended school in Baltimore City. He graduated from Edmondson High School with interests in business and the fine arts. He attended Morgan State University where he majored in Business Administration and Communication, but the Vietnam War and the draft placed David on a new path. His talents and skills earned him a position in the United States Army as a specialist of communications and intelligence. He held this position for two years while stationed in Italy. For his service, David received the National Defense Service Medal. Upon returning to the United States, David held several different positions, but enjoyed most of his 28 years of service with the Social Security Administration. During his employment, he was recognized for his ideas that helped improve his community. David was funny, talented, creative, a lover of life, and often the life of the party. He will be remembered for all of his jokes and his ability to always know what to say in order to bring a smile to your face. His favorite holiday was Christmas because he always cherished the times he spent with his family and friends. David loved his family, especially his mother and her great cooking. David will truly be missed but, most of all, he will be remembered for his beautiful personality. David leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Martha Marie Farrell; his two favorite aunts, Alberta Cook and Anna Kennard; two sisters, Joann Strickland and Rosemary Watkins; one brother, Thomas Farrell (Tommy); two brothers-in-law, Larry Strickland and Vernon Watkins; three nieces, Tangela (Tammy); Genene, and Aleisha; two nephews; Larry (Tank), and Vernon; two great nieces, Kaelyn and Chloe; one great nephew, Joshua, and a host of relatives and friends.
