Obituary

David Marcellus Gaskins, Sr., son of the late Lucille and David L. Gaskins was born August 11, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland. He de- parted this life on October 29,2014. David is one of nine children. He was educated in the Baltimore City Public Schools. He was em- ployed by the Maryland House of Corrections in Jessup, Maryland and he retired in 1987. Although often mis- understood, he loved his family and friends dearly. He had a great love for music, was an impeccable dresser and had a big heart. He would deny himself to help someone in need. He had a relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and his hope was that one day he would meet his Savior face to face. He also loved to dance!
