David Lamont Hill was born November 10, 1970 in Baltimore, Maryland at University Hospital to Rose Lee Barnwell and the late William D. Hill. Lamont departed this life on Thursday night August 4, 2016 at University.

He was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System, Booker T. Washington and Frederick Douglas High Schools.

During his adulthood Lamont work experience ranged from construction jobs to working at University Hospital which was his current job until he passed away.

Lamont was known to his friends as Hue, his favorite color was black, favorite team was the LA Lakers, favorite artists, Snoop Dog and Tupac and he loved to go to the all you can eat buffets.

Lamont leaves behind to cherish his memories: his mother, Rose Lee Barnwell; his only daughter, Tijahe Ashley Hill whom he loved so much, she was his shining star; sisters, Tonia L. Barnwell, Kimberly D. Hill, Kelly Gray, and Laticha Bond; nieces, Brittany, Octavia, and Deja'; nephews, Bran- don, Terry, Dennis Jr., Deonte' and Deandre; great nieces and great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandmother, Daisy Hamilton and longtime girlfriend, Corrister Williamson and all of his home boys.
