DAVID LONNIE JEFFERSON was born January 30, 1959 to
Mildred and the late David Jefferson. David departed this life on
December 28, 2015 of an untimely death.
David obtained his education from Frederick Douglass High
School. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and was
honorably discharged in 1984. David obtained employment
with various companies until his retirement from the Maryland
Division of Correction as a Sergeant. David was not one to just
sit around so he worked for Baltimore County for several years.
During his employment, he received several accommodations
from the City of Baltimore for outstanding service and dedication.
As he was nearing retirement, David met and married Pat Ramsey.
David loved to party and host family events and depended on
Pat to cook and feed everyone. They shared a special bond that
withstood all trials. No matter what, David loved Pat.
David, also known as Jazzy, loved music and could be counted
on to break out in song to any Motown classic. He enjoyed
watching sports and was a diehard fan of the home teams, the
Ravens and the Orioles.
David was preceded in death by his father, David and two
siblings, Randy and Grenda.
