A Time to Be Born, Learn and Work:

David Donnell Sanders, Sr., son of the late Louise Mary Ghee and the late
Willie Sanders, was born on June 28, 1952 in Baltimore, MD. He grew up in
the Cherry Hill Community and attended the Baltimore City Public School
System. He graduated from Southern High School and worked various jobs
until he was no longer able to work. David departed this life on October 5, 2017.

A Time to Be Young and Grow up:

As a young boy David enjoyed crabbing on the Hanover Street bridge, roller-
skating, riding bikes, cooking (homemade French fries and the best bacon &
eggs sandwiches) for his younger siblings and looking after them. He built his
own wagon to carry home groceries from the A&P store for people. He loved
animals and even had a funeral for his baby chicks.

Later in David's life he became a father. His son David was his first born,
followed by Paulette and Danielle. He spent a lot of time with his son's mother,
Raynelle, and her family in West Baltimore and later with his daughter's
mother, Ann, and her family. They all accepted David as family and cared very
much about him. He was the fifth of eight children and two siblings preceded
him in death, first Adrion, then Christine. David was very kindhearted and
would do anything he could for his family.

A Time to Leave Memories

David will remain in our hearts and memories forever. He accepted the Lord as
his personal savior on September 20, 2017 and his soul is now resting in
heaven. He leaves his family to cherish his memory- three children- David,
Paulette (Henri) and Danielle; eight grandchildren: Karon, Kaylah, Tyree,
Tarah, Derek, Amani, Da'Nasia and Davon; one great-grandchild: Aliayah; five
siblings: Edward Ghee (Cecilia), Victoria Goods, William Sanders (Catherine),
Viola Newsome and Mark Sanders (Tonya); three aunts: Sally Ghee, Pauline
Ghee and Peggy Sanders; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the
mothers of his children: Raynelle and Ann.
