IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Davon Andre
Scott Sr
January 17, 1977 – April 17, 2022
Dawn Andre Scott Sr. was born January 19, 1977 to lobin Scott and the late Raynard
Carroll in Baltimore, MD. On April 17, 2023, he was called home to be with his Lord and
Savior.
Davon received his education in the Baltimore County School System and graduated from
Woodlawn High School as a "star football player"
in 1996. He also attended Baltimore
City community College from 1997-1999 studying business. Before his injury in 2002, he
was employed at Super Fresh markets and worked at Kirby, Safeway and M+I. Bail Bond
Davon was the strongest man ever! Having survived his injury for over 20 years, he
never complained; instead, he kept a smile and had a funny laugh. He accepted the path
God purposed for him and did not let his disability hinder him from being a loving father
and a positive role model. It did not go unnoticed seeing him attending and supporting the
activities of his children. He was their "Dad!"
Davon was well loved by everyone he knew. He enjoyed spending time with his family and
friends, especially his aunt Arleasha, who cared for him on a daily basis. He loved
traveling, watching movies, reading and playing games on his computer. An avid Ravens
fan, he enjoyed watching football on Sundays with others in the basement while his mom
prepared delicious meals for everyone. He was especially close to Neville Hodge, John
Cryer, Joseph Savoy (Spook), Andre Murdock, Eric Bennett and his uncle Randy Bennett,
and Pernell Mickens.
Davon accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at the Church of the Immaculate
Conception.
Davon was preceded in death by his father, Raynard; brother, Jerome (Kool);
grandmother, Mary; grandfathers, Thomas (Peter) and Charles; and, a very special
friend, Ricky Brown who also spent a lot of time with him.
Davon's life, love and legacy will be shared and cherished by his loving mother, Robin
Scott; his children, Davon Scott Jr, and India Scott; granddaughter, Karen Scott;
grandmother, Dorothea Moore; sister, Raisheen Carroll; brothers, Brandon Carroll
(Ashley) and Travis Carroll; nephews, Jerome Jr., Brandon Jr., Ethan, and Haize; nieces,
hyana and Lavoya; a special friend and adopted mom, Renee Johnson; two aunts,
Arleasha Jaringan and Latanya Scott; two uncles, Pernell Mickens (Melanie) and Randy
Bennett; great aunts, Anna Hurt (Dennis), Geraldine Fades, and Claretha Johnson
(Humphrey); great uncles, Roy Scott (Henrietta) and Eddie Scott; godbrothers, Andre
Romey and Vincent; godsister, Nikki; and a host of other relatives and friends.
