Obituary

DaWayne W. Lawrence was born January 31, 1991 to Iris Williams and Larry Lawrence Sr. in Mercy Hospital. He departed this life suddenly and tragically on January 28, 2009. He was baptized at Mt. Calvary Church in Montgomery County at the age of 12. Wayne, as he was affectionately called, received his education in Baltimore City Schools and Mongomery County Schools. He also attended Job Corp. In the 17 years of DaWayne's life, he cane in contact with numerous people, young and old. They loved him for his respect and his smile. Wayne was the kind of young man who loved to laugh and be around family, especially the little people. Wayne loved playing sports, hanging out with family and friends. Wayne enjoyed music and lyrics of all kinds but mostly enjoyed making his own kind of music and lyrics free stylin. DaWayne also enjoyed his nieces and nephews and his god sister MiRanda. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary G. Tate, his brother Davon Williams and Terrence McCoy and his uncle, Joseph Lawrence Jr. He was a loving, kind, sweet and respectful young man who smiled all the time and would try to make others laugh just so he could see them with a smile. He leaves to cherish his loving memory; his mother, Iris Williams; father Larry Lawrence Sr.; sisters Yolonda McCoy and Loretta Lawdrence; brothers, Frederick McCoy Jr. and Larry Lawrence Jr.; grandparents, Sheldon Williams Sr., Charlen Williams, Constance Lawrence, Joseph Lawrenc Sr.; great-grandmother, Marrietta Williams; aunts Veronda McDowell, Mia Sampson, Dietrich Williams, Karen Jones, Dorthia Lawrence and Violet Lawrence; uncles, Sheldon Williams, Jr., Kwesi Williams and Anthony Lawrence; nieces Lorthea McCoy, Jade' Lawrence, Ishanee' McCoy, enyee' McCoy, Aravia Williamson and Elasia Williamson; nephews, Maleek Johnson, Lawrence Alexander, DaShawn McCoy, Makhi Williams, Mighty Williamson and Zay-Quone Lawrence; god sister MiRanda McDowell; close cousins, Hasheem faorite and Adriean Hall; best friend, Chico and a host of other relatives and friends.
