Deanna C. Harris, daughter of the Herman and Christine Byrd, was born on September 16, 1943 and departed this life on Fridaay, February 11, 2011. She received hr education in the Baltimore City Public School System, graduation, from Frederick Douglass High School in 1961. After graduation, she was employed at NSA/Ft. Meade and later at Ft. Holabird until her health caused her to retire. Deanna was a faithful member of New Shiloh Baptist church, where she enjoyed the fellowshipping and praising the Lord. Dee, as she was fondly known, was a softspoken and caring person, alway willing to help others in any way she could. She enjoyed computergames and puzzel books, most of all football- The Ravens. She leaves to murn; her sister, Ann Wright; twoo nephews, Edmond L. Wright and David L. Wright; cousins, Henrietta Williamson and Gladys Schoffner of Greensboro, North Carolina; brother-in-law, George L. Wright; goddaughter, dollene Howell; life-long friends, Gloria Pope, Essie Lewis and Vernet Wilson; grandnieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
