Deanna Vernetta Travers, age 81, daughter of the late Clarence Edward Stevenson and Irene Walker Stevenson was born on August 17, 1939. She departed this life on February 13, 2021 after a lengthy illness.

Ms. Travers received her education through the Baltimore City School System. Ms. Travers was married to Donald L. Travers, Sr. for fifty years until his passing in 2010. She is preceded in death by her siblings Clarence Hall, Nadeen Hall, Maurice Stevenson and Henry Stevenson.

Ms. Travers was a dedicated homemaker and loving mother to her children, Everyone who came in contact with her loved and adored her. Aunt Dee (as she was affectionately known) loved children and was a childcare provider for numerous friends and family. Her home was a welcoming haven for all who stopped by.

She is survived by: her daughter, Mimieux V. Travers-El and son Donald L. Travers, II; son-in-law, James H. El, and daughter-in-law Kimberly Travers; grandsons, Joshua Travers and Khalil Prince; sister, Robin Robinson; brother-in-law, William Robinson; sister-in-laws, Louise Travers and Anna Travers; goddaughter, Cheryl Berkshire. She leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
