D ebera Ann Denise McBride, daughter of Geneva
and William McBride was born on June 4th, 1960
in Baltimore, Maryland.

At an early age Debera accepted Christ as her Lord and
savior, was baptized at Greater New St. John Baptist Church
under the leadership of Pastor Letitia Bazemore.

As a young adult she attended Patterson High School, after
which she moved to Virginia to attend trade school majoring
in welding where she worked under water on ships and
boats.

Debera was employed by the state of Maryland as a
supervisor for over ten years from which she retired in 2012.

Debera, better known to everyone who loved her as
"Debbie" loved spending quality time with her
grandchildren and other family members. She loved
traveling whenever she had the opportunity, and she was a
big collector of movies. She loved to make people laugh and
she had a very big personality.

Debbie leaves to cherish her memories, her mother Geneva
McBride, father William McBride; two daughters Rhonda
Henderson and Brittany Henderson; four sisters Betty
McBride, Barbara McBride, Keishia Polston and Erica
Riddley; Three brothers Larry Townes (Dorothy) of
Henderson, NC., Calvin Townes (Marsha), and William
McBride Jr. (Claudia); three grandchildren Darries
Sommerville, Carter Hunter and Makenzie Taylor, one son
in law Maurice Taylor and a host of other relatives family
and friends.
