DEBORAH LYNN BURRUS, daughter of Harry and Alberta Burrus, was born on February 18, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland. On Friday, September 13, 2013, the gates once again opened to joyfully receive the departed soul of our beloved Deborah Lynn Burrus. She attended Baltimore City Public Schools. Deborah, also known as "Debbie," was employed as a Nursing Assistant for several years. "Debbie" had a love for sterling silver jewelry and wore her favorite cross faithfully. Her guilty pleasures were her sweets and sweet potatoes. She enjoyed listening to her gospel music and spending time with family and friends. She leaves to cherish fond memories: her parents, Harry and Alberta Burrus; one sister, Leneah Burrus Harding (sister, Sheila Roberts preceded her in death); brother, Michael Burrus; brother-in-law, Norwood Harding and James Roberts; niece, Tracy Lynn and LaGwenda Smith; nephew, Robert Cousins Jr. (Junnie); great-niece, DAsia Banks; three great-nephews, Da'Quan Cousins, Jordan Anderson and Travon Anderson; four aunts, Mildred Boykin Keith, Anita O'Neal, Loretta Sheppard and Sharon Burrus; uncle, Reginald Burrus; best friends, Daisy Cummingham and Jackie; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
