Delmena Haye daughter of the late late Albert and Miriam Davis was born June 25, 1939 in St. Andrew Jamaica West Indies. Aunt Del as she was fondly known to most was called home to glory on October 23, 2006 @ 2 o'clock pm. She received her education from Vaxall High School in Kingston Jamaica. Aunt Del came to Baltimore in the early 70's. After working many different jobs, she finally found her love and compassion to care for others. She became a nursing assistant and retired in 2001 from Levinsdale Nursing Home. In June of 1960 she married her lifelong partner Lionel. From this union they shared the love of five 5 children, Cynthia Pam, Patrick, Donavan, Michael, and Sandra An. Aunt Del was known for her stylish ways. She could bring joy to any place she stepped into. Aunt Del was an exciting person and known to all as one who would stand up for what was RIGHT---from what was WRONG. She was an inspiration to all of our lives. Aunt Del is a phenomenal woman and will be missed by one and all. She leaves to mourn a loving husband Lionel Haye; 5 devoted children 2 daughters PAm and Sandra, 3 sons Patrick, Donovan and Michael; 4 trusty grandchildren Carolyn, Raechelle, Patrick Jr., and Deandra; 3 adoring great-grand children Brittane, Destane and Donnell; 4 loyal brothers and 3 dedicate sisters Daphney & Keith in London, Fitzroy & Dudley in Jamaica, Verona, Ivy and Rev. Loren in Baltimore; One son in law Jeff; Supportive host of Brother-in-law's, Sister-in-law, neices, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
