DELOISE ELIZABETH SINGLETARY was born on October 10, 1929 in Cambridge, Maryland. The daughter of Helen Whittington who preceded her in death in 1984. Deloise completed high school while in Cambridge. She also attended two beauty schools. Every Sunday she would play the organ or piano for the local churches in Dorchester County, Maryland. After moving to Baltimore, Maryland, she worked several jobs, but always worked to help others. She was known as Ms. Dee by all that knew her. She was married to Wilson Singletary from South Carolina he also preceded her in death. She leaves: four adult children, Courtlon S. Ward Sr., Darlene L. Carter, Calvin A. Singletary and Roslyn E. Fuller; eight grandchildren, Trina D. Ward, Courtlon S. Ward Jr., Allen C. Ward, Kastinia Carter, Sadena May, Mchael Singeltary, Sameka Singletary and Latashay Singletary; eight great-grandchildren, ranging from seven to twenty-one.
