Delores was the matriarch of the fami{y and became one of the
first tenants of the Lexington Terrence Homes where she settled .
for 47 years. Whi{e there, she continued to set a yositive example

remained . a great rote modei' that others could . fo{ {ow. :for her
fami{y she instilled ' the meaning of sefJ--worth, vafues and hard .
work. She was compassionate, hopefui, respected, ana fair. She
was very instrumeniai at finding ways of fieeying her fami{y
together, whether it was providinq guidance, storqtetlinq.
cooking, or caring for members of her fami{y tree. She was a
yraying woman . She took great pteasure in iisteninq to her
qospe! music on Sunaay morning while coofiinfJ dinner for
everyone . .Anyone that came to her door was offerea a
meai and wisdom.
