IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Denise
Brown
February 2, 1959 – January 5, 2026
Denise Brown was born on February 2, 1959, in Baltimore, Maryland, and peacefully transitioned from this life on January 5, 2026, at the age of 66. A lifelong resident of Baltimore, Denise embodied the strength, pride, and resilience of the city she loved and called home.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Mildred Johnson and Richard Brown Sr., who instilled in her the values of faith, perseverance, and hard work. 'These values shaped Denise into the loving, caring, and faithful woman whose presence left a lasting imprint on all who knew her.
Denise was the devoted mother of Dontrice Robinson-Holloway, her only daughter and greatest joy. She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Brandy Holloway, Brandon Holloway, Braydon Hall, and Monasha Holloway, and she found immeasurable joy in being a great-grandmother to Isaiah Elsley Jr., whom she loved and adored.
A woman of extraordinary dedication, Denise worked faithfully for over 20 years at Oriole Park at Camden Yards and at M&T Bank Stadium (Ravens Stadium). She was known for her strong work ethic, reliability, and pride in her responsibilities. Denise did not play about her job—she showed up, worked hard, and earned the respect of everyone around her.
Denise was a woman of deep and unwavering faith. She was a faithful member of Greater Harvest Baptist Church, where she found strength, comfort, and peace. Church was not just something she attended—it was a part of who she was. Her faith guided her life and grounded her spirit.
She found peace in the simple joys of life, especially caring for her plants. With patience and love, she nurtured them as they grew—just as she nurtured her family with quiet strength, devotion, and unconditional love.
Denise was preceded in death by her siblings Gloria Bell, Charlotte Brown, Regina Brown, Diane Coley, and James Coley, as well as her niece and nephew, Monique Wilson and Ezell Brown.
She leaves to cherish her memory her siblings Richard Brown and Steven Coley; her nieces and nephews Takia Gilmore, Torrey Gilmore, Michael Moore, Guy Wright Jr., Brian Bolding, Rudolph Bell, Shnaya Coley, Donika Kosh, Janelle Fowlkes, Ashley Brown, Thorne Brown, and Titus Brown; her special friends Robin Hill and Beverly Queen; and a host of extended family and friends who loved her dearly.
