Denise Karen Powell, daughter of late Reather and Herman Powell was born on July 4, 1964 and Yes, she was a firecracker. She departed this life on April 4, 2013. Denise was affectionately known to all as "Binky". She was educated in the Baltimore City, public school system. Binky and was especially talented with art and loved to draw. She was good with her hands and enjoyed rehabbing houses, landscaping and some would even say she enjoyed a good fight. (That was Binky!) Binky was loved by many. Wherever she went, someone was bound to know her. She was the life of the party and would always keep you laughing. Binky lived her own life and was feisty but Binky had a good heart. Binky always kept up with the latest styles and fashions and was a sharp dresser. Binky was the proud mother of two handsome sons Tariek and Tarrell Powell who loved her dearly and grandmother to a grandson Tyler Powell. She leaves to cherish her memory her two sons Terrick and Tarrell Powell, grandson Tyler Powell, (4) sisters Reather Jenkins, Rebecca Covell , Sylvia English and Barbara Velte: (2) brothers Issacc and Leroy English : (3) brother-in-laws Tommy Covell, Woody Felton and Steve Velte: several nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins other relatives and friends.
