DENISE GLORIA SCOTT, affectionately called ''Neicy'', was born on April 22, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland to Gloria Meads Scott and the late McKinley Scott. She departed this life on Thursday, October 20, 2005, after a lengthy illness. Denise was baptized at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church when she was one year old and was a parishioner there most of her life. Denise received her education in the Baltimore public schools and earned her dipolma from Northwestern High School in 1978. She also attended Towson State University. Denise enjoyed reading novels, shopping, listening to music and dining at her favorite restaurants. Her greatest joy in life was the birth of her ''beautiful'' daughter, Danielle, whom she nurtured and adored, making every sacrifice to assure her a college education. She also loved spending time with her grandson, Justin. She was very fond of her nieces, Myca and Brittany, and nephew, Jelani, who affectionately called her Auntie; and enjoyed spending time with them since they were babies. Denise was employed at the Bank of America for more than ten years. She was later employed at Provident Bank, until illness forced her to resign. Denise leaves to cherish her memory: a loving daughter, Danielle Willis; grandson, Justin Trader; a devoted mother; Gloria Scott; three brothers, Michael A., Eric V.and Bryan M. Scott; sister-in-law,Jacqueline Scott; grandmother, Pauline Scott; eight aunts, Sharon Scott-Greene, Elizabeth Howell, Doris Polston, Dorothy McGowens, Lanae Scott and Edith, Doris and Mitsuko Meads; also survived by nine uncles, Reginald Scott, James Howell, Harrison Greene, Robert McGowens, Harold Briscoe, Walker Robinson and William, Roland and Carroll Meads; and a host of friends and relatives.
