DENNIS A. BROWN SR., son of Lela wood and the late James Brown, was born on March 22, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on July 12, 2009 after a lengthy illness. He received his edcation in Baltimore City Public Schools. He was a loyal son, brother, husband, and father. He worked for Leaseway Transportation for over twenty years. Dennis was a fun-loving, outgoing person who got along with everybody. He enjoyed travling and listening to music. He leaves to mourn: his mother, Lela Wood; son, Dennis A. Brown Jr.; sister's Sharreefah Karim and Zaidine Hudson; brother, Faraz Wood; devoted friends, Renee Hebb; grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and a host of other relatives and friends. He will also be missed by his union brothers of Local #557. Dennis will be dearly missed and will live on in the hearts of all who knew him well.
