IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Devon
Davison
July 4, 1944 – March 16, 2017
Devon D. Davison,
was born in Montgomery, Alabama on July 4, 1944. He
was the oldest of four children, born to the late Willie and Mae B. Davison.
Devon was called to be home with the Lord on March 16, 2017.
Devon received his education from the Baltimore City School System and
graduated from Frederick Douglass High School. He continued his educa-
tion and obtained numerous degrees in Art, Engineering, Mathematics, and
Computer Science.
Devon was self-employed as an Artist and had various opportunities with
the State of Maryland throughout the years.
He was lovingly known as
"He Who Paints"
for his love of Art, which he
shared with his family and the community. His passion for Art lead to many
avenues including photography and acting, such as a major accreditation in
the movie
"Liberty Heights"
in the role as
"The
Shoeshine
Man"
and
various roles in the HBO Series
"The Wire."
He was very proud of these
accomplishments and many other opportunities that followed.
Devon had a heart of gold and was greatly loved by all who knew him. He
was affectionately called
"Dee"
by friends and family. Devon loved his
family so much and was very instrumental in the lives of his siblings, nieces
and nephews. During family events, you could always spot him with his
camera, or an easel and his paint brush, excited and ready to capture every
moment.
Devon leaves to cherish his memory; his sisters, Julia Leighton and Seola
Davison-Johnson; brother-in-laws, Nathan Leighton and Clifton Johnson;
God-daughter he loving called "Blishacake"; nephews, Lorenzo and Shawn
Davison; nieces, Audrey Palmer, Natalie Leighton, Lashawn Johnson, and
Pauline Hazelton; great-nephews, Jeffrey McDuffie, Kevin McDuffie Mon-
trel, and Marquis; great-nieces, Jessica Johnson, Starshia, Latarsha, and
