Diallo Basil Roberts, son of Phelisia Chin-Neale and Darryl
B. Roberts was born on August 2, 1979 in Baltimore, Maryland.
He departed this life on February 25,2016.
Diallo received his primary education at St. Edwards Day
Care and St. Cecelia Catholic School, Baltimore City College
and he graduated from Woodlawn Sr. High School.
Diallo later attended the Community College of Baltimore
County where he received several certifications as a Paralegal,
in Office Technology and in Medical Office Technology.
Diallo's work history included mail and file clerk for the
Social Security Administration. He also worked as a legal
clerk in a law office. Diallo also worked as a intake clerk for
the Howard County Public Defenders Office. At the time of
his death, Diallo worked as a Direct Care Worker at the
Dundalk Homeless Shelter.
Diallo was a fun loving person who was always the life of
the party. Diallo loved life and he embraced it with full gusto.
He loved children and the elderly. Diallo also loved reptiles
as pets, and throughout his life was known to own several
varieties.
Diallo was a friend that you can always count on. He
always had a story, experience or an adventure to tell, which
were always entertaining. His life was short but he lived it to
the fullest.
Diallo was loved by both family and friends and they will
miss him very much. He was respected by his cousins both
older and younger. He was a favorite uncle to all of his nieces
and nephews. He was affectionately known as Uncle Dee. He
was especially loved by children. The neighborhood children
loved to talk to him because he showed genuine interest in
them. He would also treat them to treats from the ice cream
truck. Diallo would often accompany his friends children on
class trips if they were unable to attend.
He just recently took his nieces, nephews and several of his
friends children to the movies. He enjoyed taking them on
outings.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Phelisia Neale;
his father, Darryl B. Roberts; his step-father, Robert Neale;
brothers, Tyre Sr., Timothy Sr., Robert Chin, and Darryl Jr.;
sisters, Diarra and Arianna; his grandmother, Esther Wright;
great aunt, Rebecca Clark; uncles, The Honable Alexander
Wright Jr. (Marcia), Gerald Wright, Girard Wright Sr.
(Larzine], Dexter Wright, and Kenneth Wright; aunts, Arlene
White, Lareda Kellam (Charles), Dana Ross (Jamie), Debra
Rucker (Donald) and Carolyn Smith;cousins, Maya, Katrice,
Chanel, Larzine. Alexander III, Ian, Gabriel, Donavan, Girard
Jr., Chenault, David, Christopher and Rashard; several niecer,
nephews, great nieces and great nephews and a special
friend, Keyonna Hough and a adopted son, Zavier Hough, as
