Diane Marie Thompson-Myers was born to the late Palestine
Horsey and Aaron Thompson on September 15, 1949 in
Baltimore, Maryland. Diane was called home on October 26, 2018
after a short illness.

She received her education in the Baltimore City Public School
system and graduated from Paul laurence Dunbar High School.

Diane worked for the Baltimore City Public Schools systems for
many years and was later employed by the Maryland. State
Government until she retired.

She married the late, Ernest E. Myers and out of this union
they raised three children.

Diane loved family and the times they shared. She loved taking
care of her grandchildren and family. Diane also loved her
"Oldies but Goodies".

She was a big sports fan; football, basketball, boxing and horse
racing. She was always ready to watch the game on Sunday's and
yell at Fiacco. Diane liked to organize and supervise every party,
cookout, family reunion and her favorite holidays, Thanksgiving
and Christmas dinners, which she always hosted.

Diane accepted the lord as her Savior and became a member of St. Paul
Christian Community Church. She later joined the Garden of Prayer Baptist
Church, under the leadership of her cousin Apostle Melvin Baxter Tuggle II.

Diane was the matriarch of the family and kept the family together. She will
truly be missed by everyone she has ever met.

Diane leaves to cherish fond memories: two sons, Anthony Thompson and
Keith Thompson; one daughter, Tonya Myers; three step-daughters, Frances
Myers, lorraine Myers and Ernestine Myers; mother in-law, Ella Demby; four
brothers, Wayne, Kenneth, Gregory and James (JD); three sisters,
Cassandra, Roxanne and Vernetta; two brother in-laws, M. J. Browne,
and Charles; four sisters in-laws, Vonda and laetitia (Necy), Peggy, and
Bernice; eight grandchildren, Keon, Anthony, Eric, Shaquan, Melvin, Kobe,
Kimberly and Elizabeth; six great-grandchildren, Bre'on, Bre'ah, Da'lynn,
Trinity, Khloe, and Khori; a special niece and nephew that she raised as
her own, Antwaine and laShawnda; godson, Dante; two life-long friends,
Ernestine and Cynthia; and a long host of nieces, nephews, cousins,
other family members and friends.

Three Siblings, Elmer, Deborah and Kevin; and one grandson, Stewart
preceded her in death.
