Dinnice Halmer Campbell, Jr. was born on November 4, 1993 to Vernell Brooks and Dinnice Halmer Campbell, Sr. He departed this life quietly at home early on Monday, September 16, 2024 at approximately 5:50 a.m. Preceding him in death was his grandparents, Violet Miles, Richard Joseph Brooks and Joseph Campbell.
Dennis, as he was affectionately known, accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age and was baptized at Garrison Boulevard United Methodist Church. He attended Lynhurst Elementary School, Garrison Junior High and Digital Harbor High School. He worked various jobs through the years, including Schuster Concrete Company, several armed security positions, and UPS.
Dennis enjoyed watching television, especially westerns and scary movies. He enjoyed swimming. He enjoyed listening to music, especially Jamaican tunes, and listening to Snoop Dogg songs. He was very protective and loved his Mom. He loved animals, and recently adopted a cat. He was a member of the Boys Club of America at one time. He enjoyed gardening and mowing lawns. He loved to play baseball and football. He attended the Raven's for
children, which was organized by the former Raven
star Zeus. He also at one time belonged to the young marines and the Boy Scouts of America.
He leaves to cherish fond memories: A loving and devoted mother, Vernell Brooks, his father, Dinnice Halmer Campbell, Sr.; one sister, Mia Campbell; grandmother, Daisy Campbell, Step Grandmother, Evelyn Brooks; aunts, Michelle Easley, Nadine Baldwin, Debra Brooks and Pepe Brooks; uncles, Richard Raynard, Ronnie Brooks, Randall Brooks, Randy Campbell, and Terrance Campbell; God­ parents, his aunt, Michelle Easley and Joni Gummer; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
