Donald Lee Keene, son of the late Irvin and Mary Keene, was born August 19, 1926 in cambridge, Maryland. He departed this life on January 31, 2006, after a lengthy illness. Donald, affectinately called ''Cousing'' and ''Tade'' by family and close friends, received his early education in Cambridge, Maryland. He served in the United States Army, stationed in Fort McClellan, Alabama and served in World War II completing his tour of duty with an Honorable Discharge. After serving in the Army, Donald came to Baltimore to find work. He landed a job at Bethlehem Steel, where he was employed for thirty-seven years until he retired in September 1988. He was very loyal to his job and fulfilled the purpose of being a loyal servant of Jehovah, a devoted husband, provider, father and grandfather. Donald had s deep fondness for hunting, sports and fishing. Fishing was his favorite. Many of his spiritual friends as well as his family would take him on his fishing journey, especially John. Over the course of being a husband and father he raised and lectured many children, young adults and even adopted a son. He leaves to cherished his memory: a loving wife, Carolyn Keene; sons, Kevin,William, Derek, Darryl, Troy and John; daughter, Jacqueline; Daughters-in-law, Donna Brenda and Darcel; son-in-law, Alan; grandchildren, Shantae, Kevin, Jenee, William, Darryl, Terrell, Montray, Domonick, Timothy, LaToya and Devon; great grandchildren, Darryl and Kori; sister, Evelyn Keene; brother, Ronald Keene; three sisters-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
