IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Donald Alvon
Pierce
June 29, 1965 – April 13, 2024
DONALD ALVON PIERCE, SR., affectionately known as VAUGHN, was born on September 29,1965, to the late Ernestine Gaston and Donald L. Pierce. He suddenly departed this life on Saturday, April 13, 2024.
VAUGHN was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. He was a dedicated and devout employee with Hilliard Developers, Inc. and Amazon. He was a true workaholic. His work ethics allowed him to travel, get his own place and help support his family, especially his one and only son, Lil' Von. VAUGHN was a proud and dedicated father. He accredited all of his accomplishments to knowing that Lil' Von could look up to him. He was a true example of a proud father.
VAUGHN was a strong and independent person that everyone could count on. He was loving and had a compassionate soul. He would give his very last to help others and was always willing to give a helping hand. The love that he had for his family and friends was never unnoticed. He had an infectious laugh and was the life and comedian of the party. He was always acting silly and joking around. He loved to eat... so much so that he was known for taking left overs off of your hands.
VAUGHN loved to watch old movies and listen to music on his phone.
VAUGHN would not want us to be consumed in sadness about his death. He would want us to live our lives to the fullest and reminisce about the memories that you shared with him. VAUGHN would want us to keep his memory alive by loving and respecting one another and not hold grudges as life is too short and tomorrow is not promised.
VAUGHN leaves to cherish his fondest memories to: his son, Donald A. Pierce Jr.; six siblings, Antoinette (Anton), Nicole (Shawn), Quinetta, Donna, Bobby and Donald Jr.; two grandchildren, Lauren, Dreux and he helped nurture Treyonna and Terry; seven nieces, Iesha, Cierra, Bre'asya, Bobbi, Chelisa, Daneda and Israel; four nephews, Donte, Shawn Jr., Kiyan and Kaleb; two great-nieces, Nahla and Korie; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
VAUGHN had an inseparable bond with his first cousin, Towanda. She was like a sister to him. He also had some very special cousins; Akilah, Jade and O.
VAUGHN had a close friendship with Mel, Darryl Jr., Darryl Sr., Julian, Crystal, Amber and Tina.
