Donna Reese Roberson baby daughter to the late Ida Bell (Holley) and Johnny Roberson was born April 23, 1959. She departed her earthly vessel suddenly on the morning of August 18, 2015. Donna affectionately known as "Reese ", "Big Donna" and "Mommy D" attended Baltimore City Public Schools. She loved the Lord and accepted Christ as her savior at a very young age. She fellowshipped with St. Paul Community Church where all knew and loved her. She was welcomed with open arms as she searched for salvation and the word. Donna was a people person with a warm and kind heart, giving her last to strangers. It would be remised not to mention how she would give her last to strangers or those she barely knew. Donna loved life, her family and most of all her children. You couldfind Donna dressed in her finest, adorned in her jewelry and matching hand bag sitting on the steps smoking and listening to her music or dancing. When asked "how are you Reese", she would reply "the best I can" and laugh, right momma looking at her sister Yvonne (whom she called mom- ma) for affirmation. Big Donna loved her children and did not have a problem telling you just that. She would often say "mess with my children, you mess with me ", followed by "I'm just kidding, but don't mess with them ok!" with a big grin. Donna leaves on this earth to carry on her legacy: three children, Laverne Roberson (Na-Na), Lavonne Roberson-Brown (Missy) and Roger Gray Jr. (Rooster); four sisters, Curlee Burke (preceded her in death) Darlene Roberson, Yvonne Foster, Janice Gentry, and Antoinette Roberson; one son-in-law, Terrell Brown; one brother-in-law, Elloss Foster; 9 grandchil- dren, Sade, Alaydrean, Aaliyah, Kenneth, Rogers III, Terrell Jr., Keshawn, Amaya and Tyheim; 2 great grands, Justin and Dior and a host of other relatives andfriends.
