Dora Lee Butcher, born July 19,1943 to Mattie Lee Johnson and Albert
Johnson, surrounded by those she loved was called home on February
1,2016 to be with the Lord.

Dora received her education in North Carolina. After moving to
Baltimore, Maryland she married David Butcher. Dora raised three beautiful
children Cornell Johnson (deceased) Gail V. Brown her only girl and
Tyrone James also (deceased).

She always loved doing whatever she could to help her family and friends.
Dora was a outgoing and outspoken woman. She enjoyed traveling with her
best girlfriends to Atlantic City. Dora taught us that an honest response
whether it hurt your feelings or not was the best one to hear. She loved being
a grandma and watching her great grand children grow up.

Dora was preceded in death by her husband, David Butcher; mother,
Mattie Lee Johnson; father, Albert Johnson; two sons, Tyrone James and
Cornell Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her only daughter, Gail V. Brown; son-
in-law, Curtis Brown; sister, Brenda Pleasant; step sister, Juanita Smith;
brother, Franklin James; four grandchildren, Deneen Jordan, Dennis
Bunch, Gailean Bunch and Latisha James; eight great grandchildren; a
devoted friend, Ms. Cleo Lansdowne aka KeKe and a host of other relatives
