Dora J. Ransome, dauther of Norman Ransome Sr. and Dorothy Dixon, was born on Febuary 8, 1959 in balt8imore, Maryland. she departed this life on July 22, 2010 after a lengthy illness. She received her education at Lake clifton High school in Baltimore, Maryland, later continuing her education in Health care becoming a Certified Nurse's Aide. Dora loved getting up to help with the elderly in their daily living and fundamental tasks. She always loved to prepare meals at home in the kitchen for her family and friends on Sundays, so she challenged her skills and became Manager in a soul food restaurrant for a number of years. Dora accepted Christ as her lord and Sqadvior at a young age. She loved the festivity of a social gathering and made numerous friends wherever she went. Dora will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew her. she was always a true friend and a devoted family woman. She was a woman who believed that family is what makesyou live; and no matter what happens to you, or where you are, your family will always be there for you. Dora leaves to cherish her loving memory; her father, Norman Ransome Sr. stepmother Mary Ransome; mother, Dorothy Dixon Stwpfather John Dixon; a long term companion and devoted friend, Freddie "Sonny" Williams; son, Dennie Mason Jr. daughter-in-law Tyra Mason; six daughters, Daquay Mason, Laquata Williams, Lanae Lindsey, Shneria Williams, Dora Williams, Shantiea Morgan and Stacy Williams; eleven grandchildren, Tychauna, Dennis, I'yeonna, Latashay, Darien, Kyaira, Ari'yeonne, Dae'yon, Dar'ielle, Ky'mira and La'Brea; five brothers, Norman Ransome Jr., Arthur Ransome, Linwood Ransome, Gregory Ransome and Darrell Corbin; three sisters, Shirley Ransome, Keisha Ransome and Mary Corbin; sister-in-law, Tnya Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
