On Friday, September 7, 2012, Doris O. Jackson, the only daughter born to the late Grace E. Williams and the late Charles Williams departed this life to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Doris was born in Baltimore, Maryland on November 2, 1925, where she attended the Baltimore Public School System. She met and married the late James Patton and out of this union, one daughter Yvette Elliott was born. After the death of James Patton, Doris married the late Thomas Albert Jackson and out of this union, one daughter, the late Cozette Battle and two sons, Thomas Jackson and Kevin Jackson, Sr. were born. Many years ago, Doris accepted the Lord as her personal Savior. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. she enjoyed decorating her home. She would make custom flower arrangements, door wreaths and fabulous handmade curtains using just a needle and some thread. She leaves to cherish her memory; one devoted daughter, Yvette Elliot; two sons, Thomas Jackson, II and Kevin Jackson, Sr.; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
