Obituary

Doris Parker, daughterof the late Rev& Mrs.Paul Parker, Sr., who was born on June 16, 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on Thursday, June 4, 2020.



Doris received her education at Carver Vocational High School in Baltimore. After graduating high school, she became employedbyBennett's Nursing Home as a Nursing Aid, where she worked for 20 years.



Doris was born into a Christian family that loved the Lord. She gaveherlife to Christ at an early age at Union Temple Baptist Church. In 1995 she joined Progressive First Baptist Church under the late Rev. Dr. B.A. Dawkins, now WordofGod Church & Ministries under the leadershipofPastor Keith L. Green where she served as a faithful memberofthe usher board and participated in the Senior ministry until her health failed.



Doris always was cheerful and excited about attending church. She was skillfully talented in Art and could draw a picture from memory at any given time. She also loved singing her favorite song "I come to the Garden Alone".



During her transition to Glory the nurses heard her humming her favorite song.



She leaves to mourn: three devoted sisters, Eva R. Parker, Nancy Bradley, Darlene Hill; two sisters-in-law Sarah Parker, Doris Parker, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends,
