Obituary

Doris V. Pinkney was born in Ashland, Virginia on April 28, 1933 to the
late Richard and Hallie Fountain. On January 26, 2018 God saw fit to take
Doris into His loving arms where she is now making heaven her eternal
home.

She received her formal education in the Baltimore City Public School
System.

Doris was employed with the Baltimore City Health Department from which
she retired.

Doris was united in marriage to Roland Pinkney in which three children were
born from this union.

Doris loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a dedicated member of
Garden of Prayer Baptist Church for over 40 years. She was a member of the
Usher Board and the Senior Ministry.

Doris was known and loved by everyone. She was called "Momma" or
"Sister Pinkney" by all who knew her. Her favorite past times were
traveling, cooking, eating, talking, and helping others. You could always
count on her being on time. She made several friends in the senior building
where she resided. She was loved by many and will definitely be missed by
all.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband Roland Pinkney; son Garrett;
daughter Angela; sister Helen; four brothers William, Willis, Richard, and
Leon; and grandson Travis.

She leaves to mourn three daughters Debbie, Gwendolyn (Maurice), and
Lynette (Tracy); three sons Carlton, Ronald (Yvette), and Tyrone (Tracey);
eleven grandchildren Lashonda (Tim), Craig (Candace), Monique (Cortez),
Kystal, Tramel Sr., Ronnell (Sean Sr.), Ronald, Justin Sr., Kelly, Justin, and
Tyler; fourteen great-grandchildren Nathaniel, Craig Jr., Sean Jr.; Seanique,
Trevor, Justin Jr., Micheal, Antwon, Kywon, Kyshea, Ronnie, Travis Jr.,
Tramel Jr., Kali; and one great great-grandchild Za-sera and a host offamily
and friends.
