OBITUARY
Doris Madeline Stanley bura the sixth child to Madeline Jackson (Harrison) who proceeded her in death. Three brothers William, Richard and Donald and one Sister Anita who proceeded her in death. Doris graduated from Southern High School and started her career at Social Security Administration. Doris retired from Social Security and stayed home until she ventured on to work for the Comptroller of Maryland. Doris ended her employment as a retired employee. Doris loved to interact with family at family gatherings and concerts. Doris laved jazz, basketball relaxation, taking local bus trips to shop and to the casino. Doris enjoyed life until her illness. Doris succumbed to her illness on September 5,2024. Doris leaves to cherish her memory her one and only son Kevin Stanley, Her sister Inez Prettyman, Grandson Joshua Moore Two great granddaughters Riley and Peyton Moore, her sister in law Barbara Jackson, her nieces Niki Patricia, Pamela, Carla, Cheryl, Markita, Nephews Rodney, James, Anthony, Troy and Shawn. Her devoted and long-time companion of [forty-four years Jerome Waller and her devoted and dear friend of seventy-six years Joan Jones. Doris also leaves to treasure her memory a host of great nieces, nephews, great great nieces, nephews and friends.
