Obituary

Dorothy A. Doyle (DOTTIE) peacefully departed life and went home
to be with the Lord on Saturday October 13, 2018. Dorothy-was born
on December 5,1926 in Baltimore Maryland to the late Harold Steptoe
and Esther Conway.

Dorothy was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System she
graduated from Douglas High School. At the age of 20 she became
employed with, Slice Department Store, on Howard Street Baltimore
City where she worked as a sales clerk. After leaving Slice Department
Store she then became employed with Providence Hospital on Division
Street as a telephone operator where she was employed for 26 years.

Dorothy enjoyed parsing the Lord and was a member of Bethel AME
Church for 15 years under the leadership of Bishop John Bryant.

Dorothy was the Eldest daughter of eight, Billy, John, Donald, Lavern,
Shirley, Barbara, and Tony. Dorothy absolutely loved and adored her
family. She strongly believed in old fashion values, which she firmly
stressed and instilled in her children. Dorothy worked hard to ensure
they were provided with all of their essential needs. She also had a
special love for her grandson Dawan. Another love of Dorothy's was
stray animals and often times she brought home many of cats. She
loved fashion and had lots of shoes.

Dorothy's favorite hobbies were traveling, eating gambling, dancing
and watching old westerns, after suffering a stroke her favor saying
became "Shit" and "I'm a take and see about it " .

She leaves to cherish in her wonderful memory: three sisters, Shirley,
Barbara, Lavern; one brother, Tony; two daughters, Denise Elizabeth
Austin, Sherry Elizabeth Powell (Daughter from another Mother);
one son, Tony Doyle; one son in-law, Bernard Austin; one grandson,
Dawan Bellon; two great grand daughters, Dyn-mond Bellon,
Camryn Bellon; one grandson, Damira Bellon; one great-great
granddaughter, A-Nylah Clark; one nephew, Damon Conway and
a host of family and friends.
