Dorothy Mae Downs, daughterofCarrie Downs and Alfre Albright, was born January 5, 1934 in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She departed this life on June 27, 2020 after living a long life.

She received her education in Winston Salem, North Carolina where she received her high school diploma.

Dorothy was a loving and caring person and would give anyone the shirt offher backifshe had to. She loved to gamble playing the lottery and bingo was her thing.

She made numerous friends who she would talk to, she will be missed by everyone.

She leaves to mourn: daughter, Sharron Uzzell; son, Calhn Uzzell; two granddaughters, Tashea Gipson and Zaketa Gipson; one grandson, David Gipson and a hostofnieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
