IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dorothy
Hall-Kelly
August 11, 1938 – November 18, 2018
Dorothy Hall-Kelly, the oldest child of the Late
Annie V. Hall and the late Charles Brown, was born in
Baltimore, MD on August 11, 1938. She was embraced
by God's eternal love on November 18,2018.
Dorothy, affectionately known as "Dottie", received her
education through the Baltimore City Public School System,
graduating from Frederick Douglass High School in June 1956.
She held down numerous jobs throughout her life journey. She
worked at Easton Venetian Blinds, Jewish Synagogues,
Montgomery Wards and the Social Security Administration,
retiring in 1988.
Dottie grew up in a family of faith. In her early years, she
attended the Orchard Street United Methodist Church, Union
Memorial United Methodist Church and Trinity Baptist Church.
In her later years, Dottie embraced the catholic faith and
remained steadfast in her faith to the end. In 1986, Dottie
married Randy Kelly who proceeded her in death.
Dottie was a jazzy lady. She

to dress. Whatever the
occasion was you could always count her to be looking "simply
fabulous". Now Dottie owned the title lithe great
communicator". She loved to talk. Once she got started, it was
on. You knew the conversation was going to be for more than
just a minute. Dottie loved to cook. Whenever she invited you
to her home for a meal, she always put on a feast.
For 80 years, God shared Dottie with us, but He loves her best.
He embraced His child with His loving arms and welcomed her
into the garden of eternal life. You can bet Dottie greeted Him
with a smile because now she gets to hanging out with her
favorite girls, Aunt Lizzy, Aunt Sis and Momma.
Dottie leaves to cherish her memory three loving children,
Bryan T. Hall, Antoinette M. Bradley, and Cynthia L. Purvey; one
son-in-law, Barry Bradley; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-
grandchildren; one great-great child; seven sisters; one brother;
13 nephews; one niece; greats & great-greats nieces &
nephews, too numerous to count; two cousins and a host of
other family members and friends.
