Dorothy Mae Harris, daughter of the late Corrine and Jessie Smith. She was born January 23, 1951, departed on April 3, 2012 after a lengthy illness. She received her education in the Baltimore city Public School system. She was employed as a domestic engineer and daycare provider. she received Christ as her Lord and Savior at Greater Harvest Baptist church. Where she later met and married her husband of twenty years Bruce Harris. she continued to served the Lord as a member of the nurse's board at Southern Friendship Baptist Church. Dorothy leaves to mourn; her husband Bruce Henry Harris, her brother Jessie "Tank" O'Neil Smith, her sister Dorotha Watts, her daughter Mechille Shaw, son-in-law David Shaw Sr., her grandchildren Nevaeh Diggs, David Jr. and Eljisha Shaw, her niece Towanda Mackey, her nephews Devin, Derron and Leon Smith, and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends.
