Doroth May Jackson Affectionately known as "Dottie", the third child of the late Eddie and Mildred Jackson. She was born on March 21, 1943 at City Hospital. Dorothty was called home on Friday October 24, 2014 after a lengthy illness. She was educated in Baltimore City public schools. Then worked as a Nurses Aid for a short time while caring for her two children Daron and David, until she became ill. Later she gracefully took care of her grandson David J. (whom she loved dearly) during his early childhood years. Ther was nothing that brought her more joy then caring for all of her grandchildren in her own unique and special way along with spending quality time with her family. From reading to them to contributing and participating in there education. In her spare time she enjoyed writing, nature and listing to country music. Her favorite song was Rhinestone Cowboy. She was Baptized under the ministy of Bishop Jerome Stokes at the Church of the Redeemed of the Lord. Dorothy was preceded in death by one sister: Florence Brown, one brother: Edward Jackson (Toogie). She leaves to cherish her life one daughter: Daron J. Battle, son-in-law, Charles H. Battle, one son: David P. Jackson, Sr., one sister: Loretta A. Jackson. Five grand children: Keone C., Brian P. and Joseph K. Battle, David Jr. and Tyonne D. Sr. Jackson. Eight great grand children: Kayla and Kaiden Battle, Dalllyce, Tyonne Jr., Tyonna and Amiya Jackson, Chance Little and Keigan Wyche. Five nieces and one nephew: Patricia, Catherine, Quands, Darnetta, Jacqualyn and Gamel.
