On October 27, 2013 at 1:17am, Dorthy was called home to be with her heavenly father after a lengthy illness Dorthy Mae Jennings was born on May 7, 1943 to the late Elmira and Clarence Jennings. Dorthy received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. Dorthy later met Ulysses Yancy and from this union, she conceived three beautiful children, Micheal, Kathy, and Shirelle. She loved being home and spending time with her family. She was loved and called "Moma" by everyone. She leaves to cherish her memories, her son Micheal Jennings; two daughters, Kathy Jennings and Shirelle Yancy Johnson; one son in-law, Wayne Johnson; two brothers William E. Jennings, and Clarence Jennings, Jr.; five brothers that preceded her in death, Rueben Jennings, Arthur L. Jennings, Donald M. Jennings, John A. Jennings, and James E. Jennings; one sister in-law Julia Jennings; six grandchildren, Latisha Jennings, Tavon Jennings, Micheal, Jennings, Jr., Tyrell Yancy, Breonna Yancy, and Tanyill Chisholm; nine great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
