Obituary

Dorothy Mae Singletary, affectionately called" Dottie
or Net" was born on December 20,1936 in Sumter
South Caroline to the late Eddie Capers & Lizzie

Gregg. Dorothy Mae Singletary later relocated to
Baltimore with her father Eddie Capers and his wife
Rosalie Capers. Dorothy received her education in
the Baltimore public school system and graduated

from Carver High School in the year of 1954. On May
25,1961 Dorothy was united in heavenly matrimony to
Elliot Singletary who proceeded her in death.

Dorothy was employed with Commercial Credit for
several years until she retired. She later came out of
retirement to work for the Baltimore Public Schools
as a lunch attendant for many years until she finally
retired. Dorothy" Dottie/N et"Singletary' s favorite

hobbies was shopping, cooking for needy and
spending time with family. On Friday November 13,
2015, Dorothy went home to be with her heavenly
Father.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory: 1 son, Horace
Byrd of Annapolis Md, 2 daughters Debbie Burgess of
Baltimore MD, and Diane Burgess of Baltimore MD,10
Grandchildren, 24 Great-grandchildren, and 3 Great
Great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins, relatives and an abundance of friends.
